Default 2008 year model 350Z question

Hey everybody,
I am new here and currently drive an 1999 Chevy Blazer. I've been waiting a long time to get rid of it and purchase a new vehicle and that time has finally come. I absolutly love the 350Z, however I do want the Z that I purchase to have the HR engine. I've done a lot of research and I've heard that the 2007 year model 350Zs have numerous problems with the clutch. To be specific I've heard that the clutch pressure drops so much that the clutch pedal sticks to the floor when depressed and also that there are problems with rattling and shaking when shifting.

Now I will NOT be purchasing a 2007 350Z but rather a 2008 350Z enthusiast. So my question I'm sure is obvious to you all by this point, but I'll type it out anyway: Do the 2008 year model 350Zs experience the same problems regarding the clutch as the 2007 year models did???

Thanks to all who provide any constructive feedback!

Ya, I thought that might be the case, but I figured I'd throw a thread up here anyway to see if anyone has heard of anything.

Thanks for your response.

Feedback is still welcome if anyone has any information on the subject.
Thanks

As far as I know there hasn't been too much problems with the 08'....granted its almost if not completely identical to the 07'. I think there were a small batch of 350's that had that clutch issue, but other than that its a pretty good pick.

If you do buy brand new, you may want the dealer to double check the passenger airbag recall they had a few months ago. Mine checked out fine...so once again....you should be in good shape!

Good luck!
