I've had my 2007 model 350z since august 2008 and just recently I'm hearing a single tap noise when releasing the gas to change gears. It's noticeable between all gears.

It sounds like something is tapping thick plastic from around my steering column (or lower).

Anyone else experienced this? Dealer says this is normal for a 350z. I'd like a second opinion.

 

My car does the same thing.. It pisses me off but im bout to get it serviced and checked out
