Default 08 350z clutch problem

I have an 08 350z and recently i blew up the clutch. I tried getting it fixed at my local nissan dealer and they were charging me 2577 plus tax which is a ******** price i think. So i decided to go with the alternative, but theres no clutch for an 08 350z. Is there any1 that have and 07-08 350z who replaced their clutch with an aftermarket part?

you blew the clutch up?

Does that mean you don't know how to drive?

there are some clutches fort he 07-08 models:
JWT Competition Clutch
ACT - I think

there are others I just can't think of them of the top of my head.

Depending on what you blew up, if your tranny is fine than the cost of repairs should not exceed $1500.

I have an 08 350z with 27k on it and the clutch is dead...
Curious how exactly you "blew up" the clutch?

I granny shift and drive for mileage, most of the time. It's
a sports car I wind it up but thats it. I have never dropped
the clutch and always fully engage the clutch before I
accelerate heavily. I dont ride the clutch,

Cluch in
1st gear
raise RPM
let clutch catch
provide throttle as needed by load
ease clutch out

all this takes about a second or less so I dont think I am
riding my clutch.

Then shift:

Clutch in
maintain RMP on acelerator
next gear
Let clutch engage
feel load catch
ease out (to avoid jerking)

less than one second

Suffice to say I am pretty annoyed
