Recently I installed an ATI Procharger supercharger kit and I am having a problem I guess with the bleeding of the coolant. I removed the coolant lines from the radiator during my install so I know the coolant had to be bled......NOW, what I have done already is remove the rear bleeder and the radiator cap until some coolant bubbled over the rear bleeder....I then replacewd the radiator cap and bleeder thinking this would do the job (by the way, I had the heater going at full blast this entire time). To my surprise the heater is still not blowing hot and the car is getting hot VERY quickly. I repeated this process more than 3 or 4 times with the same results. Am I missing a second bleeder valve maybe? HELP!!!!!!

 

Definitely sounds like you have air in the cooling system that is trapped. Once the car cools down try starting it and letting it run with the radiator cap off. That should do the trick. If not, you may need to get it to a garage that can pull a vacuum on the system.

One more thing with the extra heat which will be generated, I would add a bottle of "Water wetter"- you can get it at Checker or AutoZone or similar. It is nothing more than a surfactant which lowers the surface tension of the water-glycol mixture in your system. I use it in my F40 because of marginal heat extraction in Phoenix in the summer. It does appear to work- my normal temperature did drop about 10 degrees or so. I was pleasantly surprised, actually. This is not an endorsement, just a set of observations.
