Default Is my washer fluid bottle covered under warranty?

When I last Autocrossed my car I hit a cone, and somehow it cracked my washer bottle under the front bumper, causing all the fluid to leak out.

I was thinking of mentioning it is leaking next time I bring my car in for service. Do you think they will cover it under warranty? (Obvioulsy I wont tell them I was racing it) If they ask I will just say I hit something in the road and the bottle should have been protected.

What do you think?

I'm sure you could get away with it, but do you want to be a liar? lol. The part shouldn't even be that expensive, its probably 10 bucks from the junk yard.

Damage from any cause is not covered under warranty. Warranty only covers defects and breakage. Your situation is akin to getting into an accident then bringing the car to the dealer to get it fixed under the warranty.

Thanks, I went to my auto body shop and they said that stupid milk jug is like 100 bucks.

I might just carry some windex where ever I go instead

Yeah quick note since I'm in the same situation. The dealership wants to charge $160 to fix it. And I actually did ran over a truck tire that blow out ahead of me on the freeway one afternoon. Dealership doesn't care. I think its crazy though to change $160 for it.
