Air leaking under the car towards the rear?
Im not sure if its normal or what, but at idle I can hear a "psshh" sound that is not constant almost random coming from under and towards the rear of the car. Almost like a vacume line is just venting off pressure.
I have searched and only came up with one thread about a fuel pump, I have never hear this sound come from any fuel pump i know of, so just wondering what it was?
thanks in advance.

Im probably going to throw it up on a lift at work and see if i can track it down. I just dont know of anything that would make pressure and vent towards the rear of the car. Doesnt seem to do any harm but it is strange.
i doubt davidv is serious...... he never is. what an old troll.. just learned how to use a computer. lol.
but i heard a weird air sound too a couple times. thought it was just the wind under the car O.o

yea, when i was on the driver side it sounded like the passenger side. I got to the passenger side then it sounded like kinda towards the middle. I tried to stick my arm out to feel anything but with no luck. I guess maybe tomorrow night ill put it up on our lift at work maybe, not sure if the Z will fit on it, its for over the road trucks and firetrucks, 4 post life (15k per lift, 440v system) just have to see if it its under the car lol, maybe ill block it and it will fit.
One possibility is your EVAP lines. Evap lines travel from your canister to the fuel tank. On vehicles 1995 and older, we actually have to test the EVAP system for leaks (an addition to smog checks). Any vehicles that cannot hold pressure and lets off the fuel evap gases back into the atmosphere would fail the smog test and then have to get the problem fixed. Look into these lines
