Going to pulll a n00b on you but I rather ask the experts. Other than what the manual states, do you guys recommend anything to do/change/check for the 3 year mark? When should I change transmission fluid and diff oil under normal conditions?

 

At 30k miles, you should have your engine, transmission, differential, coolant oil, and air filter changed according to Nissan maintenance schedule.

 

isn't there a transmission oil filter in our cars as well? Not too sure. I have an 04' AT

 

Mine is an 05 with 16k, I was thinking of changing these fluid just based on the
passage of time, rather than miles.

 

leman's sunset 03 enth. model i have 120,456 counting .. should i have my timming belt replaced as well .. with the other fluids i usally flush.. wanted to do m timming chain for some time now im just curious if it should be replaced or tension adjustment should be the step.. .. im thinkingof really just replacing thanx . 03 leman sunset

after 3 years i replaced all my endlinks....you can get all 4 from mynismo.com for like 60 bucks.

 

Im pretty sure the VQ has a timing chain, not belt.

 

Correct sir. Some SA at West Co Niss. tried to pull a fast one on me, telling that I need to replace my 'timing belt'... my reaction exactly
