Default Bad Crank Position Sensor?

Has anyone here done the ohm test on a crank sensor as the Nissan Service Manual describes? I believe I have a bad sensor but seem to have an intermittent result when testing the sensor.

When testing the resistance from terminals 1-2 and 1-3 it reacts as the manual suggests. When testing 2-3 it will sometimes not show any continuity but other times will.

Also I can't find one locally other then 4 or 5 days out from the dealer. Has anyone found one from somewhere other then the dealer?

After searching and searching I've found that the same sensor we use for our cars is also the same as several other Nissan applications including the 97 Pathfinder - which you can get at Advance Auto parts - the best part about it is the cost from Advance is $48 this is half the price of the dealer! I'll verify this tomorrow once they open and post my findings.

The sensor is not the same - one more reason to second guess some of the OEM part websites. I will have the correct part number and post it shortly.
