Default recall- ID number-03V455000

Has anyone taken their cars in for this recall? I know it was a while back and thought i would ask. I bought a used Z a few months ago and got a check engine light for code u1000.

this is what i found

I think a U1010 code is a basic communication problem. A U1000 code is an internal comm problem within the ECU itself. If I remember right.

You could try clearing the codes and see if it comes back.

just tried clearing and it came back. When that code is on the car drives sluggish. So i guess there is a problem with the ECU? Could a reflash to the ecu help? or am i looking to purhcase a new one?

That's 6 years old. If you are concerned visit your Nissan dealer. They may be able to search the VIN and see if the work has been completed.
