Default Possible defective headlight??

Well I just noticed some strange peeling or hazing on my headlights looks like someone scratched it with sand paper. I can assure you no sand paper has come near my car!! Just some FYI I'm very very particular about keeping my car clean and my car lives in my garage 90% of the time. Now both my headlights have the same markings in the same exact area. It doesn't wipe clean and feels fairly rough on those edges. I tried to take alot of pics but having issues with the reflection and since its night time kinda hard to get a good pic so all I got was just one pic of the passenger side lens. I'm also ruling out having scratched it because theres absolutely so scratches anywhere on the hood right next to this on either side. Anyone else have this issue or seen it?

that's mainly from direct sun light, just like what happend to my car... we got a human burning sun over here, where it reaches 122F...

anyways, i'd suggest u get some PlastX and buff it off.

That's pretty crappy quality if that's the case but like I mentioned it doesn't even sit in the sun pretty much just sits in the garage. Maybe I'll swing by the Nissan dealership just to see what they say. Thanks for the response!!
