Default Got a question about door panels

I replaced the window motors in my 2003 Z as they went bad after 5 years or so. Well, when I did, I noticed that when the windows are down and I close the door or go over a bump there is a lot of rattling noise from the door panel area. Also, one of the two motors has since stopped working in < 1 year. I suspect that this is because of the door panel being reinstalled improperly but I can't figure out what the problem might have been.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you taken the door panels back off so you can at least try and figure it out yourself or you just being lazy and wanting your hand held?

They have been off a total of 5 times. Once for speaker install (no rattle afterwards), once for motor replacement (started rattleing) and 3 times since. Do you have something constructive to add to the thread?

I have this problem as well. I dont think its the door panel, but rather either the window or the window track. One of them isnt screwed down tight enough.

The reason I think this is that I've taken the door panel off many times to do cleanings before I actually replaced the motor and had no issues. Only after I removed the window to replace the motor did I actually have the issues.

I have some time this weekend to work on this, hopefully it solves the issue.
