I thought my dealer said to change the oil after the first 1350 miles but I forget now. I'm at 1700 now...should I get it changed?

Also, after the first time, should it be every 3500 miles or what?

Also, which type of oil should I use?

 

i would definitely change it asap to be on the safe side, since its basically brand new. that way you can start keeping track of your own mileage. alot of z owners normally change around every 2500 - 3k which is normally recommended. i use mobil synthetic all the time. i have an 06 model, sadly i have the high oil consumtion problem, i change my oil around 2300 - 2800. what's your year?

 

I would first look in the manual. Otherwise this should be an easy question for any Nissan dealership. Sounds like this is your first car. Good luck.

 

I follow the recommendations in the owners manual. I know. Call me old fashioned.

 

Every 3750 miles is the normal recommended interval.
