Need more info. Lots more.

Are the Slip/VDC off/ ABS or brakes lights coming on?

Can you rev the engine over 2000 rpm or does there appears to be a low rev limit?

What are your front and rear tire sizes?

Have you done any work to the car, suspension, wheels/tires lately?

With no lights coming on, it's probably not VDC or TCS kicking in. A malfunction would usually cause all the lights to come on at the same time.

It almost sounds like you're in "limp mode" but that usually prevents you from reving over 2000-2500 rpm and it wouldn't go away after 5 or 10 minutes.

Since it does goes away after the car warms up, it might be some sensor that is going bad but it's impossilbe to guess which one it might be. You're probably going to have to take it to a dealer and get it hooked up to the computer to see what's going on.

When you first start your car, the engine is still cold and the ecu knows this. Because of safety issues such as insufficient oil lubrication messing up the motor, the ecu limits what you can do until the motor has warmed up. This is normal for any car with a stock ecu.
