Default back fire after new plugs

I do believe i have tried to do to many things at one time...First things first was leaking around valve cover....So replaced valve cover seal and new plugs....My old plugs where shot the iridium tips where almost completley gone on 2 of plugs which had a gap of .070 wow...all new plugs gapped at.040 i went one stage colder like recommended... but due to availability i reused intake gasket....maybe my problem.... also while reinstalling i tried to lengthen the plug harness by about 6 inches to eliminate the stress on mass air flow sensor... now i get an engine back fire at start up but the only code i pull is cam position sensor..i do also have prolonged crank at start up but that was another problem before i started this project . was hoping plugs would fix that.so what is most likely cause here.. can get a video and audio clip if that helps

my guess before i take it all apart again... cam sensor is cause for prolong crank at start up.. intake leak cause backfire.. and my mass air flow sensor job has nothing to do with this...just looking for any ideas or confirmation thanks

you should replace that intake gasket, while your at it maybe upgrade and get a plenum spacer while your at it. did you remember to oil the gasket that goes into to the cylinders? are all of the bolts on the plenum torqued properly?

replace that sensor if it is throwing a code, that would be a good idea likely a cause to your problem.
