Ideas on securing main wiring harness??
Guys, my main wiring harness is loose and is causing some problems like throwing my car into limp mode... I will get the CEL+VDC OFF+SLIP lights during the worst cases... Initially, I thought it was the throttle body (since i would get p2135 codes) but after replacing the TB 3 times the problem persists but finally i realized after disconnecting the harness from the ecu (in the passenger footwell) and reconnecting, the problem will go away for X-XXXX number of miles depending on road conditions until the harness loosened enough to make the ecu think the TB was malfunctioning...
that harness has a "latch" that swings up/down to secure/disconnect the harness from the ecu but my latch does not securely snap in the up position, leaving maybe a 1-2mm of looseness and this is the source of my problems.
can i replace that harness alone or would i need a complete wiring harness?
