Previous Lurker, now member has a question...
hi all. Been lurking for several days on the site and can't believe all the information that's available here, unreal! Anyway, I was looking for [I]my[I] particular problem on the site and haven't seen it. I've had my '04 Touring Z for 5 yrs, bought it new, only has 35k miles on it and occasionally it will not start, like right after you have shut it off for maybe 10 minutes or so. But if you go back and "crack" the gas cap it will start right up; acts like it's vapor locked like the old 240Z's used to do. Anybody have this problem or know what to do about it?
I'd have to say this is the first time I've seen this question. Hope you find an answer. I'm going to move this to the appropriate section. You will recieve better answers there...
With the low mileage you have on the car I am guessing you don't drive it much. Maybe try some fuel stabilizer. Gas nowadays goes bad within weeks and the ethanol in it will absorb moister.
