Recently i have been noticing my power seats struggle sometimes not working when i want them too. I want to change this out asap before i get stuck in the postion i dont want to be in.

does anybody know the part number or where i can find the motor for the seats. i dont want to go to the stealership because they will charge me a arm and leg?

I'm having a similar problem with my seats. You mentioned greasing the rails. Did this work for you?

I believe this is a switch issue, and not a motor issue. The contacts
wear out prematurely - causing the seats to struggle like you mention.

These are easy to replace, though expensive at the dealer - roughly $75 each.

Sure, or a local electronic supply store in your area.

This stuff is a life saver! Just spray it on the switch, and work it back and forth and it should start to work, if not, it may be the actual motor.

The switches tend to get a lot of dust and junk in them since they face straight up. This should do the trick!

Glad the electronic parts cleaner worked for you, bet the fix was less than $8.00.

I lubed my seat rails on my driver side and also sprayed air cleaner (for your keyboard) and I still have issues.
