Question Where to connect 134a refrigerant recharge kit? Need pic, please

Looking for the low pressure valve fitting to connect the standard 134a refrigerant recharge kit (bottle, hose, gauge, fitting) in a 2006 350z.

Picture would be great. Thanks.

Rear driver's side corner of the engine compartment.

One connection is outside the brake compartment and one is inside. Just pop the cover and you'll see it there.

In this pic, you can see one cap leaning towards the master cylinder on the inside of the compartment, and one outside the compartment near the intake tube.

I was thinking this was the connection (pic is from g35 engine bay). Is this not the correct location?

Be careful how much refrigerant you add, too much could cause the system to not work properly either

well, some measure of refrigerant that you add must fit. because as it is in say Mr. David that adding too many possibilities to make the system work is not optimal.

Richard, if you don't have a AC manifold, and you don't know what you're doing or where to hook up, do yourself a favor and take it to a garage to get the system purged and refilled. They'll check the pressure and vacuum to see if you have any leaks and they'll put in the exact right amount. It shouldn't cost you more than $100-$150. If you do it yourself with one of those cheap refill kits with the "universal gauge," without knowing exactly what you're doing, you're likely to do more harm than good.
