almost at 11,000 miles.... for those of you that don't know me...i have had a lot of problems with my z also.... the service at Nissan was SUCK... and i even filled out the questionaire and gave them a SUCK rating... but nothing happened.... i am posting this b/c i read about someone else selling his z and people don't seem to understand the pain he probably went through...so i'm goin to relate to him too!

tires feathering....i guess its cool not being able to hear your passenger talk when goin around 40 mph b/c the tires are louder then them ... someone mentioned switch them and its fixed....uh... it is just goin to start feathering again... and then wat... buy another set???

transmission.... they definatly have an issue with the the tranny... after they replaced my clevis pin... then finally the trans... my shifter sits a tad higher and the gears are hella notchy...in the cold 3rd gears seems to wanna grind again

grease streak don't really care for either... but my service dept. said they ordered the parts to fix it and that they'd call when they get it in .... 3 months later no call... reason i don't call them... i'm tired of their terrible customer service...

rattles everywhere from the cheap plastic dash.... no fix cuz they don't even know where all my rattles are coming from... they tried to fix one that I located... but a week later the rattle came back...=0(

the chatter from the car when the clutch is let out... some say its the tranny...some say its the throw out bearing... i told the dealer this and they fixed NOTHING....maybe its how the nissan is supposed to sound like after you drive your car... $HIT

someone said replace your seats with leather for 500... why ??? so i take it for every car i buy i should just replace the seats with them for another 500 dollars.... actually this is the one issue that i was actually satisfied with b/c nissan replaced my seat or the felt on my... (they didn't tell me, i didn't ask but they are SUPPOSED to tell you what they did) and the wear and tear is no more.... my passenger side is starting to wear so imma replace them too under warranty

also someone $hitted on the ranger being low on technology.... what good is technology when it is making the final product CRAPPY!!!!!!!!!!


i have many more gripes about this car but my hand is starting to hurt from typing and shifting through my notchy @$$ gear box today...

I love how the car looks... love the power of the car... but thats not enough for me to put up with these problems anymore....also...i'm not really down with everyone owning a z now either haha.... and if you look in the paper... you always see a used 350z for sale... but hardly a s2000... i kno there aren't as many s2000's are Z's but i'm sure QUALITY PLAYS A BIG PART ALSO! i am goin to sell my car also... and i'll probably get the new S2000 in 05 after i save up my money again.... it has been a fun ride guys...and also a hellish one... i will leave this forum being the inventor of the game that never ended that has ended when someone buys my car....
