I'm just curious as to how many ladies there are in our membership and who have taken delivery or have Zs on order. Obviously, I know of Zgirl, but other than her, I haven't recognized a lot of women on the site. Is this an overwhelmingly male obsession, or just simply predominantly male?

 

Cars generally appeal to guys, but seeing as how I was daddy's girl and he was hard core into racing and cars, here I am.

He basically created a monster, and I ordered on Sept. 30.

 

1. 1971 240Z
2. 1991 240sx (300Z a bit pricey for me at the time)
3. 2003 350Z

 

My wife repeatedly asked me to let her drive my Z to night club. Alone... Not gonna happen until I'm alive

 

The majority of chicks don't car about cars. I guess some of us just need that adrenaline rush or at least like to know we can have it in a matter of 5.4 secs

Here is something I noticed, ZGirl, 350zSpeedRacer and I all ordered the Daytona Blue. Maybe that is a girl thing.

Hehe...Exactly. It's funny, cuz I always happen to date guys that are into cars too - how about you guys? Maybe THAT'S what isn't working for me? LOL...But seriously, I'm happy that there are some other girls out there that are like me (except I have no need for the brembos...yet... ) Weird how all three of us ordered the same color too...

Here I am . Another of the impatient women waiting for their Z. Ordered June 1st. Delivery date of the 22nd. until the dock strike. CS , frosted, auto, airbags etc. Everything but Nav and splash guards. Looking for to a fun car again.

 

The guy I'm marrying is the first one I dated that knew more than I did about cars. The others were into cars too, but not to the extent that I am and so, I had to correct them and teach them--it got old.

 

There is nothing sexier than a lady in a nice sports car. I can't even get my wife interested in learning the stick (no, it's not a personal problem). I thought that Daytona Blue looked feminine (just kidding guys).

 

I moved to Phoenix 20 years ago and the first thing I did was buy a '78 280Z. Imagine the dealer's surprise when we took it for a test drive and I said, "mmm, never driven a stick before, this should be interesting. . ." I learned to drive a stick on my test drive. He was actually humored as he said, "you've done well, never seen anybody start out in third gear before without stalling" LOL! I traded that car in as I thought 100,000 miles was a lot of miles. Traded up for an 85 300ZX which now has 200,000 miles on it! I'm anxiously awaiting my Daytona Enthusiast -- should be here in December! My license 3rdZ4me . . . . Love those Z cars!
