Default Mechanical Question?

I didn't read the Sticky about car storage, and my car has been sitting in my garage for almost 2 months. I know my battery is drained (no lights, radio), I tried to jumpstart it, still no go. There is about 1/4 tank of gas, Do i just simply replace the battery? Is there anything else I should be aware of? i.e. fuel, oil level etc... any help, tips would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Default remember that cars can sit for months even a year...

on car lots with only a 1/4 tank of gas. You can take the battery out of the car and have it checked out at a local auto parts store....or you can pick up a trickle charger. Check the water levels and then sLow charge the battery back to life. I am surprised it did not start when you jumped it??? You really don't need gas stabalizer if only leaving it for under a year. My CBR sits for 6 months each year with a trickle charger on it... only thing is you always should top up the gas tank so there is no room for condensation to build inside the tank.

If the charger doesn't do it then you probably need a new battery...good luck
