Question Power Window Problem

Does anyone know if you can adjust the sensitivity of the safety feature on the power windows? When my 07 350Z has been sitting in the hot sun for a while, if you roll down the drivers side window, it won't roll all the way back up (goes up and then half way back down) due to the safety feature. Surely there's a way to adjust or disable this feature...?

I've never heard of this. What makes it a safety feature? What is it protecting against?

It's a safety feature in case you're dumb enough to roll the window up with body parts in the way....

Either that or your window motor is going out. Not sure if they had the problem fixed by 07 but it is very common in earlier year models. $130 at Autozone and you are back up and running. G/L

So this safety feature stops the window from rolling back up due to outside temperature?

window motor is going south, gotta laugh at the safety feature comment, especially due to body parts in the way.
