Default issues with window

Greetings,

I am aware that the 350z has an issue with the window motor going bad. The issue that i am having is that my pass side door window does not lower its self when the door is opened or closed. Like when you go to the door and open it, it lowers down 1/4 of an inch to clear to close the door. So i opened the door, while it was opened i pushed down on the window and it slid down about 1/4 of an inch almost to where its suppose to be normally when you open the door. I close the door and the window goes back up to normal. I guess what im saying is that it seems like my pass side window is a lil lose and it is not able to retract when the door is opened. I am new to 350z and i have done some searching but could only find issues with the window motor. It almost seems like the window is lose on the mounting bracket thats connect to the motor.

This is getting really frustrating. If you guys could shed some light on the situation it would really help a guy out.. Thanks in advance..

search for window reflash. There is a reset procedure posted on here on how to reset the window motor. I've had to do it a couple times on mine for random reasons. When i had the battery out for a while something happened and i had to reset the window motors so they move properly.

You can start off by taking the negative battery cable off for 30 seconds so the ecu resets and see if that helps. If not, window motor reset. Easy process.

You have to pull the panel for the window reset right?

If it's the procedure I'm think of, no, you do not.

Yes, unless you drill a hole in the doorpanel.

There is a reset button under the door panel where the motor sits. You have to remove a black sticky plug from the hole and then there is a small button. That's the reset button.

Taking a door panel off is all of 2 minutes for me now though.
