I needed to disconnect my battery for a short period, I see where the Positive plus terminal is (under the red cap) but the "-" terminal is'nt marked, I assume its the one on the left of the battery, it looks like it';d have to be unscrewed kinda to take it off is this correct? Sorry if its a basic question

 

yep. check the manual, it tells you in there too (chapter on jumpstart)
