I have an 03 track and seem to have misplaced my car keys somewhere. After searching everywhere and being unable to find them, i'm starting to think i may have locked them inside my car.

I don't have a backup key and just got the car just over a month ago. I tried to look inside my car, but the windows are tinted and its hard to see much. I do however see the flashing red light. Which means that my alarm must be on right? So my question is, does the alarm only come on after you use your remote to lock the door? I can't remember whether i used my remote to lock the car or not. This will help me narrow down whether my keys are somewhere inside the house or not. lmk thanks.

Does the flashing red light still come on when you manually lock the doors? (from the inside without using your remote). Also when i try to lift the door handles the alarm does NOT give off a warning. Help me out here thanks.

 

The factory alarm does not give off any type of warning. I replaced mine a while back, but I think the factory alarm does arm itself after all door are closed.
