i have been reading about this airbag light flashing alot... and expecting it.. but kinda wish my wont go off... it is now... i tried and tried the method over here of how to reset it.. but doesnt work for my 2006 touring roadster...take it to get scan.. nothing wrong with it.. nissan service said "the air bag module MIGHT be malfunctioned" Might.. hahahah and they want to charge me ****ing $700 to replace it.. ahhahahaha what a joke.. i am trying still with the method here.. if it work . i will let u guys know.. ahhah

lol mine was going off in my 2005 Z and i brought it in and they said that my driver and passenger side airbags werent even functioning and replaced under warranty, they had my car for 2 days and gave me a rental all under warranty. Guess i got lucky

finally, i located the problem.....


took my Z to a local shop after trying to mess with the reset which doesnt work... took it to nissan.. they said " Air bag MIGHT malfunction"......The point is.. local shop scanned and got 2 codes for me... they are B1081 and B1086 these are Pre-Tensioner Front RH and Pre-Tensioner Front LH... i didnt know what wrong with it.. but remember that i lost control of my car a couple days before my light started flashing. I was going around 65-70 mph on lose gravel road in the desert and my Z busted a 500-520 degree... ahahaahahhahahh but luckily no one was around nor did i hit anything.... so now i see the problem.. unlike the freaking dealer.. stating that my air bag might malfunction... anyways.. if u live in san diego, california. DOnot bring ur car to nissan service on pacific beach.. by the I-5 freeway...
