Default hm..locking steering column... 2006 350z roadster

first of all, i am sorry if i post this in a wrong topic again..

but i got this keyless push start button and the problem is that it only work on car without locking steering column. and i was just wondering if the 06 z roadster has locking steering column or not...

but if it has a locking steering column then i must place the key int he ignition and unlocking it...before i can push the push start button.. and if the z got locking column then there is no point of installing push start button when i have turn the key anyways...

thanks

i dont think you can do that. it would be a whole intergrated system like high end cars have.

yes, it locks. Try this: go on a slight incline, turn the engine off, press the clutch, and roll a little bit, very slowly. Try to turn the steering wheel - it should be locked, meaning it only turns a limited number of degrees and not the whole way around.
