I just booted up my nav for the first time in awhile and it refused to load after pressing I agree.

It keeps on rebooting and saying wrong disc version but the disc worked for months. I tried reloading software update disc but nothing happened.

Any advice?

 

^^ You are experiencing a hardware failure. It's either a damaged disc or a problem with the device.

Try cleaning the disc, and then reinserting into your device.

If you still have the problem, try using another disc (you do this at your Nissan dealership).

If that fails, the problem is the disc-reader in your device that requires cleaning or repair.

The message has switched to Disc Error yet theres no way two working map discs would fail, so I guess it must be the dvd-rom drive...This should be fun.

I think it may be cheaper/better to buy an aftermaket unit and put it in the NAV compartment.
