Default Car horn honked while removing/disconnecting battery

Hey,

Searched and researched a bit on google.. can't seem to find a definitive answer.

So today I removed the battery from my car, which surprisingly was an awkward little procedure givin the limited space...

anyways, i'm 99.9% positive the negative/positive connections didn't touch but as I was jostling with the battery after removing the negative the horn randomly honked at me..

thoughts? Some people say this is normal while removing a battery.. but that seems illogical to me personally.

Does your head hurt from hitting it on the hood?

Yes, sometimes when connecting or disconnecting the battery, I've triggered the alarm for a second.
