Default Diagnostic check

Im planning on taking my car to the dealer, do they charge for diagnostic check? Im getting this humming/vibration while driving highway speed 50+mph and dont know where its coming from.

Normally a "diagnostic check" is a reference to hooking the car up to a diagnostic computer and scanning for errors/issues, which won't have anything to do with the issue you are having. You didn't mention, is your car under warranty? They will likely need to drive your car to diagnose the problem, and unless your car is under warranty they will most likely charge you for this. The short answer is... call the dealership and ask, we can't say for sure what your dealership will or won't charge you for.

Generally no. You have an undiagnosed problem. The mechanic should drive the car, diagnose the problem, then contact you with a suggested fix and price.

dealer charged me 200 hundred to check diagnostics out of warranty...
