on my 2004, the air bag light will not turn off. at taco bell a couple of weeks ago my girlfriend bumped one of the concrete pilons in front of the pick-up window. the next morning is when this problem first reared it's ugly head. later that same week, my wife said it was handling a little funny, so i took it in for an alignment. they talked me into new tires and the alignment checked out fine. i replaced the steering colum and thought i put everything back right. anyone ever run into this problem?
I have no idea about the airbag light, but I do know mentioning the wife and the girlfriend in the same internet posting could cause you some REAL problems.

1. Your a sucker for getting talked into anything let alone new tires, plus the alignment checked out - hahahaha - WIN...
2. you replaced your steering column and THOUGHT you put everything right?
And now your asking if anyone else has run into this problem? hahahaha
As for the airbag light - take it up to the stealership.
That airbag light is a indicator for the passenger side airbag and the sensor is in the passenger seat,so I don't think your girl hitting a pole has anything to do with the light being on...
