Axxis ultimate rear brembo brake pads were too far in?!?
I put new brake pads on my brembo's some months ago. They now have about 3000 miles on the new pads (only 4000 miles on car)
They have been developing a squeek for some time, I tried re-bedding them in, but that didn't help, so I finally went out got some anti-squeek goo (red stuff-forget the name) and started taking apart my brakes cleaning everything, then using this stuff.
Anyway, I get to my first rear brake and the pads took ALOT of effort to remove, I get them out and see that some of the pad was sitting below the bottom of the disk... I'm guessing that was the cause of the squeel - my brake pad rubbing against the painted part of the disk!
now I don't know what to do... I suspect I caused this when I did the initial change. I loosened the lower bolt holding the calipers on while getting the pads in... I'm guessing it wasn't supposed to be all the way in. But even assuming that was the problem, how can I use these pads that are uneven? And how do I properly adjust the bolt on the back?

After looking at my OEM pads, I think my calipers are in the correct location. The OEM pads are "cut out" exactly where the offending part of the Axxis pads are. So I'm putting them back on... At least now I can put them back together and drive around...
Anyone with Brembo's and new pads - do your's have this problem? if not, great, just tell me what you run
