- Driver side window motor - Parts only. Don't remember cost but probably less than $100.
Window motor will go up and down 1,000 times. Then it will die. Miles do not matter.

Parts alone for stock motor mounts were 500+ because it comes with the cross member.

Also it's a pretty difficult DIY if you don't have the right tools.
Crossmember?? No... The only thing remotely "cross" down there is the subframe and that's not part of the motor mounts. The mounts cost about 120 a piece and it just looks like a big rubber bushing with a big stud threw it.

How did you know you needed new motor mounts? I replaced them in one car but with urethane I believe. Cabin vibration a bit lol.

BTW: Tires irrelevant, I've done my diff fluid at 15k, 30k. Replaced my rear pads at 42k. I'm at 44k now.

This one sounds expensive, but necessary, soon after 60k. Any estimates on cost?

As these cars age, what are the typical repairs needed (AC, steering, transmission, etc), when do they usually show up (40k miles, 70k miles, etc.), and what are typical repair costs.

davidv, do springs really get that bad? I'm about to replace shocks on my 75K mile Z because it feels soft.... but if that doesn't completely help maybe I should get new springs too?

Yes. Springs and dampers wear over the years. Wear is so gradual that you may not notice. I went with the NISMO S-tune package for the 350Z. The difference between worn OEM suspension and new NISMO was significant.
