Default High pitch sound at high speeds?

First I was doing about 140 the other day and the car was perfect. 5 days later i decided to go for 150 and at 90 i start hearing a high pitch whine, as i increased speeds to 130 it got load as hell and i then decided NOT to go to 150. I slowed down and decided to try and figure it out, where it was coming from.

When i press the eccelerator it screams at me when i let off it stops, the faster i go the louder it gets. Its almost like feed back. How ever i did it eith the radio on and off and got the same results.

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?! I know i can't take it to a dealer becuase they won't take it to 90 and i am not risking there lives at speeds greater either.

Does anyone know what this may be?

Default I had the same problem...

Took the car in today, and a technician took a drive with me. Mind always happens when it gets to 6K RPM or so. He listened and tapped around and found it was from the Rear Struct Bar. He said when the noise/rattle hits a certain frequency, the metallic struct (the silver peice with the Z logo) starts to resonate, thus the high pitch buzz. He pressed on the silver plate and the buzz was gone.

Hope this helps, and I'll find out if that fixed the problem!

rear strut bar with the fake aluminum Z logo on it, you know the thing in the way of putting anything larger than a dufle bag in your trunk!!

Default Seems like the sound proofing they put....

under the strut bar did the trick! I have gunned my car a few times up to 6.5K RPM, and no high pitch rattle! Keep my fingers crossed and hope it won't come back!!
