Getting so tired of this!
I had a thread a month or so back about my car dying in while going into a major intersection, I took it to the dealer twice and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Well it happened again this morning, and we nearly got hit by another car. I avoided it and got it pulled off on the side of the road and had to restart it, which is the first time I had to restart it with the key, usually it pop starts. I don't know what to do at this point. I am driving a car that could possibly seriously injure me or someone else. I can't sell it cause if this happened to someone else and they got hurt it could potentionaly come back on me. I want to get rid of this car so bad now, but not exactly sure how to go about Lemon Law procedures or a buy back from Nissan. I'm too broke right now to afford an attorney, so I just don't know what is going to happen. Should I contact my salesman, or go straight to NMUSA?

The dealer I bought it from is in St. Louis, two hours away, so I'm trying to get as much done it down here as I can. They are looking at it as we speak though. I checked MO Lemon Laws, and it says 3+ times for the same problem can be considered a lemon, and this is the third time. Hopefully Nissan will buy it back and I can get out from under this.

They just called and said they ordered an air flow meter, so I dunno. They didn't even check my transmission either like I asked them to.

This may take some time, just be patient. Save all of your receipts from the dealer. Ask them about your tranny why it wasn't fixed. Don't accept, "We found nothing wrong with it" take them on a test drive if you have to.

Got the car back and they said that the air flow meter from my intake was messed up. I have an Injen intake, and they said this might be the culprit. THe guy called Nissan and they said oil from the aftermarket intakes get oil on the mafs, and they get messed up, but he said they are still not sure if this is what is wrong or not. BUt they are covering it, but he said if it keeps messing up they won't, so I'm going to go ahead and take that intake off.
I asked about my transmission problem, and they said that this is what caused that too, which I don't believe.

I was just about to ask if you had a CAI or popcharger installed. that does sound like the problem. if the MAF gets blocked or is not installed the car will stall. Happened to a whole lot of people who first installed the popcharger (thank god this never happened to me) Should have the MAF sensor replaced if its blocked with oil (the filter must've be soaked with oil for that to happen) Try it without the CAI and see if it stalls again, by the way did you ask them to check the ECU? it should've logged the stall and sensed where the problem was to cut the fuel.

Yeah they said no codes at all came up when they checked the ECU. THe guy told me at the dealership that the air flow sensor was missing, then I got a call from the service manager and he said that it had a tiny bit of oil on it, and he honestly didn't think it was the problem, but just to be on the safe side they are replacing it. I'm going to take the CAI off tomorrow and run it for awhile and see how it does.

They said the MAF was missing? and that it had a bit of oil in it? If it's missing how can it have oil in it?
Make sure you reconnect the MAF sensor when you remove the CAI.
