Default Infiniti has these TSBs...why not us!!

I have a shifting driver's seat and front end clunk, neither of which have been identified by my "trusty" Nissan dealer. How is it that the G35 has TSB's for these issues but not us??

From G35driver.com:

Service Bulletin Num : ITB02080 Date of Bulletin: ?
Type: Coupe and Sedan
Component: DRIVER SEAT
Summary: DRIVER SEAT ROCKS
IF YOU CONFIRM: The driver seat cushion feels loose; • "Rocks" back and forth and/or makes a "pop" / "click" noise. • Usually when the vehicle accelerates from a stop or when making a turn.
Action: Replace the front Seat Lifter Link Bracket Assembly with a new one-P/N 87463-AM501.

Service Bulletin Num : 02060 Date of Bulletin: SEP 26, 2002
Type: Sedan
Component: STRUCTURE:BODY
Summary: CREAK NOISE FROM FRONT END. *TT
If: an applied vehicle has a creak noise coming from the front end when it is driven under the following "body-twisting" conditions: • Road dips • Rain channels • Street intersections • Driveways Use the Service Procedure on page 2 to resolve theincident, if it should occur.

Seems to me that the fix should be the same since we might share these parts with our inifiniti cousins. Any thoughts?

Dude, look at the tire feathering thread above. 58+ pages of posts on the subject. The fix is to replace the tires. No long term solution in sight.

I started to read it, but 58 pages of the same thing?

The tire switching is not a fix; it's a band-aid. Just asking if maybe someone had some new info from their dealer stating that a TSB was officially on it's way. Thanks tho

Yeah, I've been reading that thread everyday since I first started reading it. I totally agree that the tire replacement is a band-aid at best and does not fix the issue!

As for a TSB that actually fixes the problem? Nope. No word of anything comming from Nissan anytime soon. 58 pages of the same darn thing.

I don't think Nissan believes there is a problem with the suspension, only the tires!!! Lame!

Someone from Nissan MUST be reading this forum!!! Speak up!!!

My only comment on the feathering is why doesn't everyone have it??? If there are cars with it and ones without it, it MUST be fixable.

I don't have that drivers seat TSB handy but try using SEARCH - I posted it a while back.
The TSB consists of a slotted washer (which they will have to order). Its an easy fix (my dealer was able to do it and they dont do much) and seems to work. My seat has not moved since.
