Default Windshield Molding

Hey guys, I had my windshield replaced last fall by an independent autoglass guy. Anyway now the the weather is starting to warm up, the molding (black plastic strip along the top of the windshield) is starting to warp and lift. I bought a new strip from courtesy parts thinking I can just pull out the old and press in the new. BUT, i can't get the new one in. This is a strange problem I couldnt find on the boards. Anybody have any idea how I can get this new sucker in there? My last resort is to force it by using some 5 min. epoxy. But I would rather not do a total hack-job. Anybody??

I couldnt imagine a local autoglass store charging much to put this in........not sure if there are any special wedge tools, etc needed, but you may wanna cruise by a place and ask them? dont let them do anywork UNTIL you discuss a price first......dont let them poke your eyes out..after its done with them saying "okay, that will be 200"
