Default F*** nissan F*** the service F*** my Z

im F***ing tired and mad as hell - and Im about to loose it..
my Z is at the dealership AGAIN - for 2 weeks already , window grease came back , my windows didnt drop - they were hitting door pillar , weather strips have to be replaced cause my car is flooded every single time it rains , Bose radio has to be replaced 3rd time ! lower - upper control arms ( something like that , not sure ) have to be replaced , and of course tranny , f***ing tranny is gone and im getting a 3rd one , hopefully this one goes very fast and i can get rid of this piece of S**t car , 6 months of owning my car and in 6 months i didnt drive the car for a full month cause it was at the dealership enough is enough im DONE... and the service ? at first they were nice ,very helpful , now they asked me to come down and show them whats wrong with the tranny... - yea let me get under my car with you and maybe together we can figure this out then you can stop by my work and help me out then we can be buddies ! ... how f***ing hard is it to understand that the gears are grinding ? plus its really hard to put it in the 2nd and 3rd gear.. so i went to the dealership yesterday and drove with the technician who told me the tranny was fine , maybe a little grinding... so we took another Z for a drive ( one of the salesperson personal car which was on the lot to be serviced) after the drive my technician ( whats wrong with the word mechanic ? ) admitted my tranny had to be replaced and he will call Nissan , oh and you would think that by that time they would fix other problems I had , no , they are waiting for the parts... how about F***ing calling me and telling me that , how about telling me that when i left my car with you ?????? F*** NISSAN , will never buy another Nissan product , im out

You do realize you could potentially get a brand new Z for all of your troubles using the Lemon Law. Your car is called a lemon after you get the same problem fixed 3 times. Find a lemon law attourney and get yourself a brand new Z!+

I agree. Use the lemon law and get a new one. Even if you are gonna sell it, you will get more for the new (unbroken) one.

It is clear you got a lemon. Most people are not having all these problems. When you get your new one under the lemon law you should be fine. It will be a 2004 and most of these things are addressed.

If it were me I would use the lemon law and give the new Z a chance to perform ok. You can always sell it later.

Lemon law is generally in affect after the third repair. Look into this. Also, all the problems that you are having are not that uncommon with the first run of a new production model. Look into the lemon law where you live and pick up an 04.

You dont have to take a 04 you can always have them buy back the car. Check out a thread someone posted about having Nissan buy back his car.

See my post below "Arbitration worked for me". I posted a response so that you can see how I went through the BBB and had NNA buy back my vehicle.

Also in California if you have had you car in the shop over 30 days for non-maintence type of repairs you also qualify. See what your state requires. You can find out such info in the warranty books.

Lemon laws are diffrent from state to state.I beleive it's 6 times in NYSamd must be a major component. You can call them they will tell you over the phone if you qualify. Also what dealership are you going to?Try westbury nissan they did my trannys same as you with no problems. If you go there ask for mike he,s the tech that worked on my car. They don't need your car again until they get the new tranny.Hope this helps.
Good luck

It is presumed that there have been a reasonable number of attempts to repair a problem if, during the first 18,000 miles of operation or two years from the original delivery date, whichever comes first, either: (1) the same problem has been subject to repair four or more times and the problem continues to exist; or (2) the car is out of service by reason of repair of one or more problems for a cumulative total of 30 or more calendar days and the problem continues to exist.

hmm my car has been at the dealership 14 days now , and 8 days few weeks back when they replaced my tranny , 8 more days and i may have the case

i went to the track total of 3 times , had 8 runs , i dont abuse my car , meaning i don't do donuts and burn outs or spin the tires at every stop sign , i dont street race , rarely down shift , and yea sometimes i let my Z have it , i red line at each gear , once or twice i was doing donuts in a parking lot but i dont drive a minivan , if my Z is a sports car , i expect my Z to act like a sports car and expect it to be able to perform like that at all times...

i feel your anger,
I sold my z because i got sick of having to take it to the dealer to be serviced. This was my first new car, and it has been a horrible experience for me. I love the Z, but its a shame that looks are deceiving for this car. This car was my hard earned present for busting my hump through college and working. I might consider buying another Z in the future once they work out all the bugs.

Man, the grease streak is a no brainer. Did that different dealer work out? You should also talk to a lawyer about the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. My car has been in the dealership 11 times in the first 6 months, clearly qualifying it for the Lemon Law and the M-M Warranty Act. Look at the link below for details on it.

http://www.yourlemonlawrights.com/st...s/new_york.htm

Just find a lawyer that will take your case for free and go for it.

http://www.lemonlawamerica.com/

If I were made of money I would just trade my Z in, loose $5K and move on. However, since I work my *** off for everything I'm getting a free lawyer so I can get my money back. Just be patient and you can do the same.
