Does getting a good oil filter really make a difference? I was always told that it doesnt matter what type of filter you get since you change it out every 3000 miles anyways.

Expensive stuff -- like $8/quart for the oil and $14 for the filter -- but the change interval is 25,000 miles (really).

Don't LOL now, but I buy my K&N Oil filters (the Model HP1006) from www.truckpartseast.com. The filters are $8.97 ea. with no shipping.

Go with the Mobile 1 filter if you are using synthetic oil. I got mine at Auto Zone.
