Default New Taillights, no cruise control

I installed LED light bulbs to replace my old tail/brake lights. They're not as bright as I hoped, but oh well. The problem I am having is now if I have the headlights on and set the cruise control, it will lose the set speed for what seems like no reason. Could this be a problem with not enough loading on the system?
I'm about to drive to work and will test it with just the running lights on and see if this pattern continues.

Take off the ebay lights and stick with OEM tails- either JDM or USDM. Ebay tails have been known to pull too much current and screw with the ECU. Loss of cruise is one of those symptoms.

I only replaced the bulb though, not the entire taillight. This is what I bought:

I contacted them and they said load resistors should fix it, might as well give it a try.

the circuit expects a load to sense the tail light working, the LEDs youre using (as will any LEDs) have a fraction of the load expected and it thinks your bulb is burned out or the circuit it open. Higher quality LED modules will have resistors to create the appearance of the load expected. I suspect yours do not.

Why did you say new taillights when all you did was change a bulb

It says bulbs in my description, yes I missed it in the topic title.

After looking at and using them some more. Forget these LED lights they aren't as bright and now I'm experiencing the ECU problems chesire mentioned.
