First, does the car have VDC?
There will be a button under the steering column that says VDC.
2003 to 2005 models had VDC only on the 6 speed track, touring and performance models.
If it doesn't have VDC the dealer can reset it. The cluster could have been changed out.
So first, what year and what trim is your car. Is there a VDC button. Is it clean title?
What size wheels/tires?

hmm guy gives a weird answer and you buy the car?? 2nd. are they stock rims or aftermarket? It sounds weird but make sure your tires have the right psi, reason saying if they really low i would say it could make the vdc go off.

If you check your owners manual, you'll find that if those lights are on all the time, then you have a problem.
Do you have the VDC Off button under the dash, near your left knee?
Indicator light
If a malfunction occurs in the system, the
SLIP and VDC indicator lights come on in
the meter panel.
As long as these indicator lights are on, the
vehicle dynamic control function (except the
ABS) is canceled.

Are you running stock tire sizes? If not, you need to be running larger rears, while being within 3% from front to rear.
If you are running a square setup, that may be causing your Christmas tree lighted dash.
Don't ask me how I know this.........

Reset of the ECU might clear it. The problem with power glitches like that is something could be fried. Try disconnecting the battery, press on the brake pedal then reconnect it. That should reset the ECU.

Just pull up your shifter surround and look just behind the shifter and see if the black box is bolted up in there. If it's not, shoot me a PM I have an extra here in my tool box.
