Default Annoying click in clutch pedal!!

O.k., simple complaint but annoying as sh*t when you're shifting through all your gears up and down all day..here goes...press clutch down either just low enough to shift gears OR to the boards, either way, 80 percent of the time on the way up it "pops" like your turn signal noise clicking..sometimes on the down AND up...6 gears..12 pops..wtf..
Took it to the dealer x 2 months ago, couldnt figure it out and they replace the whole clutch pedal..If i bring it back, sure its under warranty but it MAY happen again and i'll be without my car for 2 days because they're retards and thats what they want it for. Any ideas on what it might be?
I almost thought the actual pad on the pedal but..no dice..and i cant tell where its coming from on the assembly..

Some believe it is the spring getting stuck then popping back into place after it un-sticks.

I am taking it to my dealer in 2 weeks for the same problem among others.

Its the classic problem in my 05 too. The way I gather is the spring pops as you release the pedal. If you get under the dash with a flash light and press the pedal with your hand, you can see the spring pops as it rides on the pedal.

I just the grease the heck out of the spring in the clutch pedal assembly and it goes away. Its come back again and time to take a paint brush and grease it up.

I used WD-40 to spray on the spring, and it worked for me.
