Those of you who had their tranny replace with 3rd generation tranny, how is it?

Are you still having problems with 2nd or 3rd gear grind or knoch?

How does it feel?

I read some post that 3rd generation tranny is nothing like second.

Please post your opinions & experiance with 3rd generation tranny. Your input will be greatly appreciated it.

 

i had to replace my tranny bc i had grinding in second and third gear. its happened in the mornings alot and when its been sitting out for awhile. after the new tranny, everything has been smooth. now i just have to get my damn tires.

Please keep us updated on this. I am getting ready for my third transmission, but I really don't want to go through the hassle if the problem still exists. Do you know if the new gear box is actually a third generation transmission?
