Default ** windows ** please help

first my drivers window was hitting the door pillar , now that the dealer supposedly fixed it , im having hard time opening the door , its like my window gets stuck somewhere and its really hard to open my door , if i yank it i can brake the window ( i think my windows dont go down enough while opening the door ) but the manager at the dealership says its fine and thats the way all Z are... anyone has the same problem ? i contacted lemon law firm already regarding other issues and they say i have a good case... any fedback regarding the windows would be really appreciated.

My passenger door does the same thing. It's like the window doesn't go down when you first open it and the window gets caught on the roof molding. Let me know what you're doing about this... I'm thinking of taking it to Nissan, but they'll probably blame my Injen CAI for the problems Seriously I was going to show them how easily my drivers door opens and compare it to the passenger side.

my window on my driver's side was going up when I pulled the switch to "auto up", but was hitting the top and then motoring halfway back open again. I pushed down on the top of the window and it moved about a half inch and then the window worked again.

As far as not retracting enough, someone posted a technical bulletin here a while back. It has something to do with resetting a window position sensor.

I went to another dealership yesterday, first thing I said that I already contacted NNA about the other dealer with complaints and not taking care of my window problems, the service manager took a look at my car and said its definitely not working how it supposed to work, surprisingly when I mentioned NNA right away I got a better treatment... I'll keep you posted about this..

I just had my drivers side window motor replaced, and right away I noticed that the door is stiff when the door is opened. I looked carefully and sure enough the window is getting caught on the top as soon as you open the door. I think they just have to make an adjustment. I'm gonna take it back so they can take a look again.

did any of you have the "grease streak" problem on your windows?

my windows have always worked fine, but for the nasty grease streak about 1/3 way back from the front.

never took it in to get fixed for fear something else with the window would get screwed up or it would start sticking.

LOL - first month I had the car I unknowingly hit the window lock switch with the passenger window down and called the dealer service on my cell...how the f**K do get this window up??? uh, sir, can you look at the switch down by your left hand...duh

Is it sticking on the lip of the doorway seal? check door adjustment, too - wonder if your door is so tight you've got major friction at the top.

does the same thing happen when the door is open and you try the window up/down?

What BS.

Of course, it's your fault for putting a Honda antenna on your car - no wonder they treat you like a leper!

WTTF, tho', really three tranny probs?
