I have a 2006 base model and lately the passenger headlight is acting up. It started with the LEDs flickering and only 3 out of the 4 working (random pattern, not always the same LED going out) and then they stopped working all together. Now, the HID doesn't even come on. When I turn on the headlights, it'll flicker for a second and then shut off.

To me, this sounds like a ballast problem, but since I'm having problems with other components in the headlight, could it be something else? I checked all the components in the headlight(Headlight) and it looks like this could be the culprit: Headlight Control Unit

Can anyone with more experience with headlights give me some direction? It's embarrassing driving around with only one working HID

 

I am having the same problem, but I have a 2004 350Z. Will let you know if I have any luck finding out what this problem is and if you can do the same if you find out before I do. Thanks,

 

I recently took the headlight out and checked all the wiring and noticed that the HID bulb was actually broken. Unfortunately, my LEDs still aren't working. I bought a ballast from a 2004 HID headlight just in case this was the problem, but it turns out my HID bulb itself had a crack and was broken. Right now I have an extra 2004 ballast, so if you think that's the issue, I can sell the one I have for $30 which is how much I paid for it. I hope it's a cheap fix for you!
