so on my lunch break i was driving and rolled my driver side window down, parked and tried to roll my window back up. keyword is tried because it got stuck and wouldn't roll back up.

went home and took my door apart to see if i could fix it. well, now i can roll it up and down but i lost my auto up function and it doesn't do the down/up thing it's suppose to do when i open and close the door.

any ideas? i tried to do the window motor reset too and nothing happened.
is it the motor? my window switch? anyone have the same thing happen. BTW i have a 2005 enthutiast if that means anything

 

Bro take it to the dealership or any shop let someone that knows what they are doing fix it.

Dealership will rob you. Just buy the replacement motor, follow the DIY thread and you will be fine.

 

you didnt do the reset right - if you do it right - you will have your auto function and your lil up and down action when you open/close the door..
