To get down to it I ran the car the other day very hard I think I went to high up in the RPM’s like in the 7000 range and got some smoke when I let off. Pulled over and checked it out at idle the car has a little smoke from the exhaust and there is a ticking or knocking noise from the heads on the drivers side. It sounded like all pistons was firing so I drove it. Since I was way out I had to limp the car home at about 55-60 MPH. No smoke when the car is running higher then idle or at least none that I could see.

What could be the problem? Do I need new heads or could there be a hole in a piston? Do I need new rings? Could I be getting blow-by or what?

Need some help so I take the correct steps to fix this problem.

Yeah I should have put that. The smoke has a blue tint to it.
