my driver window wont go up/down. the contols are dead, the remote wont roll it down. when i open and shut the door the window wont go up/down for the air tight fit. i did some searches here and the "ghetto" hit the door panel works. it will let the window go up/down a few times then it will "die" again. when i do that tho the window will roll down very slowly and go up very fast. So?? do you guys think its the regulator or the window motor?

 

that's a window motor problem for sure. hitting the door loosens up some of the dust/dirt that is preventing the brushes from making electrical contact. either take it out and clean it up, or buy a replacement from a place like autozone or advanced auto parts that gives you a lifetime guarantee on the motor.
