Anyone know where I can get one? The dealer is charging me $318.00 and over $300.00 labor to do mine. If I can get it cheaper, I may just do it myself.
I have an 03 350Z

I just did mine yesterday!
Try advance auto parts too, they had a 15 or 10% off last week.
Here is the thread I used if you need it.

When I look at those two places (Advanced Auto Parts and Autozone) it gives me the page for the motor and when you go to check with the number "1" in "quantity" it says that that quantity is not available.
It that their way of saying it's out of stock?
Any other suggestions?

When I got mine from AdvanceAuto (recommended over AutoZone for anything electronic) they had to special order it. Just call them or go into the store.
Before that you can try cleaning the motor with electrical parts spray and save yourself some money.

I did call both places and they said that it was no longer available.
The dealer wanted $316 for a new one, charged me a $108 fee to "diagnose" that my motor was dead (I had already taken the panels off and make this diagnosis myself) and wanted over $300 to install it.
But, just looked on Ebay Motors and a dealership in West Covina, CA was selling an OEM NEW one for $160.00 so I guess you can't complain about that. Only $7.50 shipping too. Can't wait to call the dealer and tell them where they can put their $600.00 deal now. (Of course they'll still rape me for the "diagnosis fee")
Gonna follow Vo's DIY on this.

A1 Cardone - FTW! - Ive had mine in for 2 yrs now and still running like a CHAMP!
or go to an Oreilly Auto Parts if you have them out there - they have a lifetime warranty

I don't Zaino nearly as much as I used to but I have roughly 125-130 layers on the car.
Not as much on my new Kaminari Hood since I just installed that last year.

Hope that OEM one is brand new and works well for you
The Autozone is a remanufactured unit. Mine lasted a whole 3 months! I'm back here today looking around becuase I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. Anyone have an Autozone motor fail?
I have to call back tomorrow to have the manager check all of the warehouses becuase the computer told the guy I was talking to that they are on backorder. I have a bad feeling about this even if I wanted another one. Sounds like from you guys that they are not easy to get. Maybe they will take it back since it says lifetime or full refund whichever I want on the receipt. Try my luck at Advance even though it's probably the same brand but at least they might have stock.
Courtesy "only" wants $203 for one. Is it brand new if it's from a dealer?
The Autozone one is up to $180 now! I never did my core return becuase I thought I'd fix it but haven't found the right size brushes yet.
Can't believe the $300 labor! It's only a 30-45 minute job!
