High pitch exhaust

Ok so my 350z used to have an aftermarket exhaust, and I put the stock back on. Whenever I hit a certain RPM, it's like I hear a high pitch noise from the exhaust at the specific RPM. Is it most likely a leak?

It's more like a high pitch whine I guess you could say. I don't think it's a rattle, but I could be wrong.

when you went back to stock, did you make sure to use all of the gaskets and torque everyhting down right?

hi pitched = high pressure air leak. could be intake related, but most likely an exhaust leak.

it sounds like a leak. had a similar thing happen when i swapped exhausts on my srt-4 and didn't clamp two section well.
